Cardiff School of Art & Design is a partner in the EASTN-DC project supported by the Cultural Programme of the European Union.

The European Art – Science – Technology Network (EASTN) for Digital Creativity is a project that brings together European institutions involved in research, creation and education in the field of technologies applied to artistic creation.

This international network is dedicated to the time-based digital arts: musical arts, visual arts, performing and interactive arts.

The project brings together 16 partners in 13 different countries from Europe to the Americas. They will host and exchange 70 creators across 16 international events spread over 4 years.

As a partner CSAD at Cardiff Metropolitan University will have 5 researchers from the FabCre8 and Metatech research groups and 5 resident artists contributing to the project and will hold an international EASTN-DC festival across venues in Cardiff in March 2021
