Jon Pigott received FabCre8 funding to exhibit his piece Electromagnetic Interrogations at the 10th anniversary of Kinetica Art Fair in London. The piece is a kinetic sound work that form part of Jon’s ongoing investigations into sound, materials and systems

Jon & Ingrid’s Syn-Tea- Sizer will be  on show in the Touchstone exhibition in  Farmleigh Gallery, Dublin from June 17th .

Jon presented a paper at the U.S and European convening of the ‘Science and Technology by Other Means’ . The paper was part of the STS and Artistic Practice as Research track organised by Trevor Pinch, Henk Borgdorff and Peter Peters. Following the event there are plans to publish an edited book of papers (in progress)

This is a project to design an interactive display to showcase CSAD’s international activity. A Santander funded project, we set ourselves the brief  to use a physical interface to access digital content, which would create a dynamic and ever changing display , which could also be used in to access specific geographic information.

Paul Granjon and Michka Melo are conducting research on the topic of microbial fuel cells (MFCs), a renewable electricity production device in which electrogenic bacteria digest organic matter in an anaerobic environment.
